• Bachelor’s degree (advanced degree or MBA is a plus)
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a communication/business development role, preferably within a professional services provider (consulting/law firms)
• Excellent writing, editing, proofreading, presentation, and overall communication skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven experience dealing with SEO, web editing, web content creating and Social Media marketing
• Effectiveness in establishing and maintaining relationships with a diverse group of peers, attorneys, clients, and professionals at all levels
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadline requirements and prioritize multiple competing demands
• Readiness to undertake and manage large, long-term projects and tasks with preciseness and effective use of firm resources
• Knowledge of core business development and sales principles in a professional services environment including client targeting
• Strong work ethics and client service orientation with proficiency in client relationship management
• Capacity to exercise good judgment and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
• Entrepreneurial spirit and a strong commitment to professional growth and development
• Advanced knowledge in working with MS Office
• Proficiency in written and spoken English
• Experience in working as part of the team and individually
• Follow and analyze the relevant industry and market trends locally and internationally
• Develop BD plan with detailed approaches and communication strategies to drive the highest-value projects
• Promote thought leadership efforts to increase market visibility of each practice area and individual lawyers
• Create cutting-edge client-centered content for Firm website and Social Media accounts
• Coordinate overall internal and external events
• Deliver effective submissions for the global legal directories and branded content for written and digital media
• Implement sales procedures for new client opportunities and ensure accuracy of all communication materials
• Use strong client service orientation in creating new CRM strategies
• Develop and follow-up on the implementation of the Firm’s regional positioning
• Organize annual regional and international training programs in close collaboration with lawyers
• Moderate regular BD meetings and internal communication on development initiatives
• Plan and effectively enforce BD and communication budget
