Vasilije Bošković

Associate

Vasilije Bošković is an associate at Gecić Law, specializing in Environmental Law, EU Law, Competition Law, and State Aid.

Before joining the firm, Vasilije graduated from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law.  He is pursuing a master’s degree in Contract Law at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law.

During his studies, Vasilije completed specialist courses in international law (University of Pittsburgh) and European private law (University of Salzburg). He was the best student in the Council of Europe’s course on combating human trafficking.

As part of a team of two, he won First Place at the National Moot Court in the Field of Anti-Discrimination Law, organized by the Commissioner for Protection of Equality. Simultaneously, he received an individual award for the best speaker of the entire competition.

Vasilije took part in numerous legal clinics, study groups, and conferences on various topics, including International Law, Law of Obligations, Civil Law, Tax Law, and Refugee Law, as well as Law and Economics and Sociology of Law.

He has received various honors for his exceptional achievements, such as the Laureate of the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law for Outstanding Success at the National Moot Court Competition, and the Best Students Award issued by the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law for each year of study.  He is also a two-time recipient of the City of Belgrade Scholarship for students with the highest average grade at the University of Belgrade, as well as the prestigious “Dositeja” scholarship awarded by the Foundation for Young Talents of the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

Vasilije is fluent in English, Serbian, and related languages ​​(Montenegrin, Bosnian and Croatian) and has an intermediate level of French.
