For the sixth year running, we’ve been shortlisted for The Lawyer European Awards, cementing our place among Europe’s legal elite. Impressively, this year sees us again competing with international powerhouses. We entered the finals in three categories, the only regional law firm to achieve this feat.
Gecić Law is a double winner of the regional title, having been named Law Firm of the Year for South East Europe in 2021. In 2020, we claimed the same honor for Eastern Europe and the Balkans. This year, Gecić Law not only holds a nomination in its region but also competes in two other practice areas: Competition and Corporate. Gecić Law is standing shoulder to shoulder with Europe’s best in these areas.
We are incredibly proud that our firm is continuing its multiple streak of nominations and thrilled to rank among the top five for Europe’s best Competition or Antitrust Team. Our peers in this category include global leaders like Latham & Watkins and Cooley. This nomination recognizes our groundbreaking achievements in major cases. The European Corporate Team of the Year nomination is also especially significant, as this is the second consecutive year of nominations. Our team’s exceptional growth and work in intricate, high-profile cases spanning multiple markets stand out again. Our standing with top firms like Skadden and Arthur Cox attests to our success.

Recognized as the standard of excellence in the European legal sector, The Lawyer European Awards have acknowledged the most outstanding achievements in the continent’s legal world for the past fourteen years. The Lawyer European Awards each year showcase the impressive achievements of Europe’s finest within the legal industry. The Lawyer’s elite judging panel comprises top global experts, GCs, and business leaders from distinguished enterprises, the likes of L’Oreal, LVMH, Nestlé, Wells Fargo, Bayer, ArcelorMittal, Hitachi, Shell, Citi, HSBC to name but a few. The competition is particularly fierce this year, with a record-breaking number of submissions. More than 250 entries from 120 firms and organizations entered to claim one or more of the 27 prizes.
