Gecić Law has done it again! For the seventh consecutive year, our firm has entered the finals for The Lawyer European Awards 2024, and this year’s achievement is nothing short of extraordinary. The excitement is building, and we’re entering the final countdown to the most anticipated legal event of the year. This year, we are proud finalists in three prestigious categories.

Gecić Law has consistently set new standards of excellence at The Lawyer European Awards, and 2024 is no exception. We’ve already made history with two wins in the Law Firm of the Year geographic category: South East Europe (2021) and Eastern Europe & the Balkans (2020).
In 2022, Gecić Law achieved a significant milestone by entering the finals in four categories. This marked the highest number of nominations for any law firm in Europe that year. We entered the finals for Law Firm of the Year: South East Europe, European Competition or Antitrust Team of the Year, European Corporate Team of the Year, and European Litigation Team of the Year.
In 2023, Gecić Law also continued its streak of accolades by being shortlisted for the sixth consecutive year at The Lawyer European Awards. We made the finals in three categories: Law Firm of the Year: South East Europe, European Competition or Antitrust Team of the Year, and European Corporate Team of the Year.
This year’s Litigation and Finance nominations for the entire continent further solidify our reputation as leaders across multiple practice areas. Our renowned Competition team has also had a strong track record at the awards. It indeed entered the finals and was Highly Commended numerous times. While the team could not compete this year due to the category’s withdrawal, its exceptional achievements continue to inspire.
The European Litigation Team of the Year nomination is indeed an incredible honor, reflecting our success in handling some of Europe’s most complex and high-stakes cases. Our European Finance Team of the Year nod above all celebrates our groundbreaking work in reshaping financial markets and delivering innovative solutions in cross-border finance. And, of course, our nomination for Law Firm of the Year: South Eastern Europe reinforces Gecić Law’s continued leadership and influence across the region.
