Ivana Stojanović Raišić is a counsel at Gecić Law in Belgrade. Her practice focuses on Competition Law, Banking & Finance and M&A.
Prior to joining the firm, Ivana worked as a Paralegal in Competition & Antitrust at the Linklaters LLP London international law firm. Previously, she was a Senior Legal Advisor at the Serbian Deposit Insurance Agency where she gained extensive experience in banking & finance having worked on the largest M&A transactions in the banking sector in Serbia.
During her studies, Ivana was recognized numerous times for her exceptional achievements, including the Top Ten Serbian Law Students Award by the Ministry of Justice and Local Government of the Republic of Serbia (2002) and the Academic Excellence Award by the Faculty of Law at the University of Priština (2001).
Ivana earned her LL.B. from the University of Priština, Faculty of Law (2004), where she graduated among the best in her class. She earned her LL.M. in Competition Law from the University of London, Queen Mary School of Law (2015) and a Master’s degree in Political Sciences from the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Political Sciences (2016).
She is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association. Ivana is fluent in English, Bosnian, Croatian, Montenegrin and Serbian, and has working level of French.
