Located at the Nikola Pašić Square, previously called Square of Marx and Engels, the Trade Union Hall was completed in 1955. Designed in the socialist classicism style it was the largest and most suitable venue for the varied requirements of sociopolitical and cultural life in the capital. Today, the building has the status of a monument of culture.
