Founded in 1874 following a proposal from renowned Serbian botanist Josif Pančić, Jevremovac Botanical Garden is the only of its kind in Serbia. Located in the heart of Belgrade, the garden is part of the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Biology, and remains a part of the city’s natural and cultural heritage. Since 2004, the garden also features a Japanese garden.
