Milica Novaković is an associate at the Gecić Law, specializing in Competition law, State Aid and EU law.
Prior to joining the firm, Milica worked in ProCredit bank and was an associate at a leading law firm in Belgrade. Before that, she worked for a Berlin-based startup ‘’Manage Your Deal’’, which was funded by Frankfurt Stock Exchange. She was also an intern at PwC.
She earned her LL.B. at the University of Westminster in London, where she studied both common law and civil law systems. During her studies, she spent an exchange year in Berlin, at Freie Universität. She has also earned her LL.B. in Serbia, and LL.M in law and internal affairs.
During her studies, she took part in many MUN Conferences where she received awards for being the best speaker, on several occasions. She received a certificate from Yale Law School for the course that she attended on the common law system and passed with the highest grade.
She is fluent in Serbian, English and German, and has intermediate knowledge of Spanish.
