Janko Ignjatović is an associate at Gecić Law firm in Belgrade.
The main focus of his expertise is in Dispute Resolution, Reorganization and Bankruptcy proceedings, Corporate/M&A, and Labor and Administrative Law. Janko obtained his LL.B. at the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Law where he is currently attending his master’s studies, Property Law module, sub-module Contractual Liability for Damage.
During his undergraduate studies, he participated in numerous conferences and seminars and was a recipient of scholarships granted by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development and by the Faculty of Law of the University of Belgrade in the course of his final year of studies.
Prior to joining Gecić Law, Janko completed his internship at one of the leading law firms in the region, where he gained experience and knowledge in commercial disputes, bankruptcy proceedings, labor disputes, corporate law/M&A, and where he had an opportunity to work on legal due diligence analyses and reports for some of the largest companies and transactions in the region.
He is a member of the Belgrade Bar Association, and in addition to Serbian, he is fluent in English and has a basic knowledge of Russian language.
