We recently entered the finals in four categories for The Lawyer European Awards 2022 and became one of the most nominated law firms in the whole of Europe! As last year’s winner, Gecić Law was nominated for Law firm of the Year: South East Europe, a 150 million strong market, and entered the finals with three of its practice area teams for impressive achievements in competition, corporate and litigation, standing shoulder to shoulder with the crème de la crème of the entire continent. Gecić Law received the most nominations among this year’s contenders across all of Europe – an unprecedented feat any law firm in the region has ever achieved.
The news attracted the interest of the media. Last week, our Founding Partner Bogdan Gecić spoke with distinguished English-language publication Cord about the great news, but also about the development of the firm and what makes it stand out.
Bogdan discussed the importance of creativity and innovation in the legal profession, stressing their importance for creating value for clients. He also spoke about the importance of the core values of the firm.
“We believe that our core values – meritocracy, innovation, integrity, and philanthropy – explain much of our growth and successes. It is new ideas that create value in business. We anticipate market trends in order to always stay close to what matters most to our clients.”
Bogdan went on to describe the firm’s development from a practice focused on EU law to the diversified law firm it is today.
