Gecić Law is proud to announce the appointment of its Founding Partner Bogdan Gecić to the Board of Directors of the UAE and Serbia Business Club.
The United Arab Emirates and Serbia Business Club announced that it had elected Bogdan Gecić to take on this important role in the prestigious organization at its annual Assembly held last week. The United Arab Emirates and Serbia Business Club was established in 2019 on the initiative of the UAE Embassy in Serbia and the most reputable companies from the UAE and Serbia. Gecić Law was among the founding members of the organization.
The UAE and Serbia Business Club is a non-governmental and non-profit association founded to promote economic and other forms of cooperation between the United Arab Emirates and the Republic of Serbia powered by the most prominent corporations from both countries. Having cooperated for many years with many companies that are part of the organization, including leading UAE investors in Serbia and major Serbian companies that are now members, Bogdan was part of the initiative from its earliest stages. The new Board of Directors also comprises Nikola Mihailović, CEO Mirabank, as President of the Board of Directors, and members Mladen Simović, CEO Energoprojekt Entel, Rade Roganović, GM Vetroelektrane Balkana, Vladimir Lučić, CEO Telekom Srbija, Dušan Radičević, CEO Al Dahra Serbia, and Strahinja Marjanović, GM Al Rawafed Serbia.
On behalf of the new Board, Bogdan addressed the Assembly saying: “It is a true honor to join the Board of the UAE and Serbia Business Club, and I am thrilled to serve the organization and its members. As one of the founding members, our firm has been part of the organization’s activities from the onset. While dubbed a club, I strongly believe this organization is a lot more – it is a platform that transcends the goals of a business association and builds bridges between the two nations, regions, and continents. This amazing platform connects businesses, cultures, peoples, and ideas – fostering collaboration and innovation. The limit for this club is only our imagination, and I am certain this is just the start of the many great things we hope to accomplish together.”
