A traditional carnival held on the first day of the year that brings artists, Belgradians of all ages and visitors together through excellent atmosphere, free food and drinks and its charitable character. It started in 1988/89 when actors of the famous Belgrade ‘Atelje 212’ theater changed roles with the staff ‘Srpska Kafana’ restaurant to serve unsuspecting visitors.
Public service and giving back to the community together occupy a central position in Gecić Law culture and the way our firm perceives the legal profession. Pro Bono work allows our lawyers to apply and strengthen their talents in a wide range of areas of law representing individuals and organizations of limited means in a variety of matters.
At the heart of our Pro Bono practice is a deep commitment to bringing the best possible legal representation to the most undeserved, and frequently overlooked, populations. We are extremely proud of the work we do, frequently in partnership with some of the most respected organizations in Serbia and the region. We encourage lawyers, associates and summer associates to dedicate themselves to improve the community and help people in need by selecting their own Pro Bono activities. We take great pride in Pro Bono activities such as Kolarac Foundation, Harvard Club of Serbia, Municipality of Sopot, International Academic Center, Taboroši scholarship and others.
